Confederations Cup

It is football tournament for national teams, currently held every four years. The winners of each of the six FIFA confederation championship contest it, the competition is organized by FIFA, along with the FIFA World Cup winner and the host country, to bring the number of teams up to eight. The six FIFA Confederation Championship are from CAF, CONMEBOL, UEFA, AFC, OFC, CONCACAF. The 2009 tournament currently being held in South Africa.

This tournament was organized by and held in Saudi Arabia After That FIFA took over the organization of the tournament. From 2005 the Confederations Cup is to be held once in every four years before world cup began, in the host of the forthcoming World Cup.
